A few weeks back, someone on my Instastories asked me if I ever have a bad day . . . which totally took me by surprise because of course I do – just like everyone else ;) but this off-the-cuff question did make me stop and ponder for a bit = do I have bad days??
And the really honest answer is I have bad moments, NOT bad days. SAY WHAT?? Yep, but listen, I am NOT saying that my life’s perfect or that I’m perfect or that every day is rainbows, sunshine and unicorns. HOWEVER [for the most part] it’s mentality over reality. I have learned to roll with the punches/to gracefully fall down, get up, and dust myself off/to smile big no matter what life throws my way.
But it wasn’t always this easy, y’all. No siree. I had to work to get where my brain is today. You have to teach yourself that you have control over how you react to your daily obstacles. And if YOU can’t figure it out on your own, hire some help! That’s what I did [both a therapist AND an assistant] and look at me now. I can happily say there really are no bad days, just bad moments.

And that’s why I LOVE my sweatshirt from ban.do! I mean why not wear your new mantra as a badge of happy ;) right?!
