As San Diego begins to transition its way into the May Gray/June Gloom season, it’s important for all of us #stylecrazed gals to keep a positive outlook on these upcoming cloudy days ;) and I plan to do just that with fun pops of color and a couple of layers!!
Yep, this time of year can be little frustrating with its misty mornings, overcast skies and cooler temperatures . . . but after experiencing this for nine years now, I’ve come to realize there’s an easy solution and it’s simply allowing your winter and summertime wardrobes to collide.
I created this outfit of the day by mixing this patch-tastic raincoat with a funky white cotton dress and then added additional pops of matching red, black, blue and yellow to tie the two statement pieces together = creating a one of a kind chic but colorful look!

So don’t allow some frizzy hair and chilly goosebumps to take that skip out of your step, ladies, and INSTEAD keep your eyes on the prize [YOUR HAPPINESS] and accept a good styling challenge when it presents yourself. It’s a great way to create a brand new outfit straight from items already in your closet!!
