Cafe Cute

Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you’re reading this gearing up for a fun weekend ahead ;) we landed here in Seattle yesterday afternoon, on the second leg of our #royalvacation, but you’ll be reading more about that next week . . . instead, since we are heading into the best part of our weekly seven-day rotation, let’s talk personal weekend style.

For most, this can be an easy time for some “lazy-day” wardrobe. Don’t get me wrong. I get it. You’ve just busted your butt working towards a few days of downtime, so the last thing you probably want to think about is what to wear, but I implore you that it doesn’t take a lot of effort to create a comfortable look that’s still cute on the eyes.

These are the sort of outfits you should really have in your everyday arsenal; the ones that are simple to put together and effortless to wear. That way it doesn’t matter whether your weekend involves errands like the grocery store, events like a friend’s child’s birthday party, or even something as simple as grabbing a quick tea just so you can catch-up on those dreaded emails.

And that’s what today’s outfit is all about: I created it by simply throwing on this loose-fitting Mara Hoffman blouse and pairing it with my favorite Citizens of Humanity jeans and these funky Sam Edelman flats.

I then accessorized it by selecting Dolce Gabbana eyeglasses that matched the shirt’s orange AND gave it some traditional “Jenna” quirk by adding my Kate Spade cross-body purse and these rad vintage danglies.

See by playing off the Mara Hoffman top‘s many hues, my clothing choices give off the illusion that the entire ensemble took hours to fashion when it really only took moments to make. And this is pretty much what I’ve been stressing to you since the history of #stylecrazed posts here on LLM = the styling magic is in a colorful wardrobe. It gives you the power to endless possibilities. It also makes life oh-so-much-more FUN!

I mean how can one be in a bad place when you’re wearing the rainbow? Seriously. Am I right or am I right, people?!
