Even though fall is an absolute favorite of mine, I always feel bittersweet about a change in seasons. It isn’t because I don’t like moving forward, but more on the basis that I’m just not ready to leave some of those beloved summer pieces behind. In other words, today I am going to show you how I took is this J.Crew swimsuit cover-up that I have loved beach season after beach season the past three years [WOWZERS] and used it in a new look for autumn.
Here is it. This cover-up is comfortable, well-constructed, and perfectly colorful with its brightly-hued stitching. I mean can you really blame me for loving it so much?! Thus, this October I am taking it with me :) straight into cooler temperatures by wearing it as a tunic and pairing it with some treasured blue jeans and these riding boots with a somewhat similar stitch pattern. I then accessorized it with these fun earrings I bought a few months ago at the Gift Shop inside the Oceanside Museum of Art and my orange glasses from none other = Andrew’s Optical in the Carlsbad Village.

You know . . . I usually like to say that I am oh-so NOT boho chic. However, after pairing this outfit together today, I guess there might be a little “hippie” in me after all ;) SO, is there something in your wardrobe with the potential for another season? I dare you to give your clothes a second look over. You never quite know until you try!
