Happy Monday, y’all! I hope this post finds you smiling about the week ahead. I’ve been tidying up this morning after this weekend’s festivities. Yep, this past Saturday, I joint-hostessed a #ladiesluncheon with Madmade Designs. Why? Well, for one, why not?! And two, it’s because of a funny story . . .
I guess it was just meant to be. That is meeting Amy Garner. See, she is the main reason for our little female get-together. I met Amy at the DesignLoveFest calligraphy workshop I took this past April and Melissa met her at another L.A. event. And then, there was that one Instagram picture where Melissa and I both realized we had met the same person via “creative” networking events :) anywho, Ms. Garner sells Stella Dot jewelry and since Melissa and I both love jewelry, the rest is history!

Right from the get-go, all of the ladies seemed to be having a blast!
This is one of the many beautiful floral arrangements created by Madmade Designs. Her tips will be #ontheblog this Thursday!
And if real flowers weren’t enough, Madmade Designs also made her own out of paper = perfect for any backdrop!
This was Lucky Little Mustardseed and Madmade Designs‘ joint party favor. I painted the bottles and attached the positive quotes while Melissa arranged the flowers. They were a big hit! The copper vase D.I.Y. will be up on LLM this Wednesday under Creative Aftermath.
Our girlfriend, Mitzi, answered the puzzling question of “Who let the dogs out?” ;) so the furbabies [unexpectedly] descended upon our party! Lol. Hazel even managed to sample some of the merchandise.
Here was my view of all the beauties :)
Tomorrow on LLM, you will be able to find my personal tips on how to throw a joint party. I might be a little bit biased, but I think we hit this one out of the park. I mean we even managed to incorporate my love of copper into the mix.

Needless to say, it was a #happySaturday well spent! Thank you to Melissa Duncanson from Madmade Designs for being my partner-in-hosting, to Amy Garner for all the beautiful Stella Dot jewels, and to all of our lady friends who made all of our work totally worth it! We DEFINITELY will be doing something like this again.
