There are SO many things I love about this season: the taste of watermelon after a hot day, the smell of our neighbors grilling with charcoal, the chill of the summer night air on your skin . . . it’s one of the most beautiful times of the year. And although, June is flying by in a tizzy, I am still managing to find periods each day to stop and enjoy it. I even manage to find some products to help relish in it!
I think it’s safe to say that Sullybrate is my current favorite shop on Etsy; not only does she tug at my “English Bulldog” heart strings, BUT Sully literally looks like he could be our fatty, Hazel’s, long-lost brother. Plus, who doesn’t want to give these adorable greeting cards to someone they love!?
Marc Alary was the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award Runner-Up. He creates whimsical designs that I simply adore AND since I’m such a lover of all things bluebird-related [I mean they are the symbol of happiness] these were an astounding MUST-HAVE!
I’ve never been one to own or buy myself expensive jewelry . . . but D decided to change that on our last Vegas trip and left me [almost] speechless. I’m just in awe. I’m also not one to really wear bracelets. I guess this will be my new thing ;)
Obsessed is the only word I can use. This album has been playing in my studio on REPEAT ever since I saw St. Vincent’s wild performance on SNL. Her music is this mix of alternative with new age “Madonna” flair. Love, love, LOVE!
Yep, this is the detox I told you about the other day. I know I made it sound awful, but in the end, it DID make me feel phenomenal. It’s also a good, quick read filled with such common sense it will make your head spin.
Remember how I lost my glasses? Well, those glasses were also in this eyeglass case my father had bought for me. Yea, I lost that too :( BUT my father is pretty stellar. He actually hunted down another case for me and surprised me with it via snail mail. I had no idea that Amazon even carried them! AND who knew they had so many different characters!
Per my 2014 To-Do’s, I’ve been slowly eating less sugar and extra fruits/veggies. “Jenna” quitting sweet tea was a huge deal, but I survived and am now happy to report that I’ve adjusted to green tea quite nicely. This is a wonderful on-the-go option I found at Cream of the Crop in Oceanside. You can buy them online too.
