LLM Loves: February 2014

WOW!

I guess if this month is any inclination as to how fast this year is going to go = I better hold on tight!

[Haha!]

But before I head on out into this rainy day for some WAAAY over due errands, I wanted to take a quick minute to share with you my February favorites:

LLM Loves: February 2014

#1. Kate Spade New York All Typed Up Clyde Typewriter Handbag

This was my 2-year anniversary present from D, and needless to say, he did a GREAT job in his selection. It’s no longer available, though, through the Kate Spade New York website :( but I did manage to find some on eBay [just in case you have to have it]!

#2. Onzie Capri Pant in Skull

With March Madness starting in two-days time at Peace Love & Yoga, I had to get one extra pair of my ultimate favorite yoga capri’s. These babies stretch and move with your body so well in the hot heat.

#3. Pottery Barn Polka Dot Napkins

I am always trying to find ways to be “greener” within our household, so we use cloth napkins verse paper ones. Sure, it adds a little bit to my laundry load, but it’s better than trashing them in some dump yard, right?! Anyway, we’re been using the same ones for almost two years now. I thought it was time to add some new ones to the mix . . . and who doesn’t love polka dots!?

#4. Poppin The Cut-Above Scissors in White

This pair will beat rock every single time ;) I found them while shopping this month at Staples for some Art After Dark supplies and since I didn’t already have some for my new office, they were an easy purchase.

#5. Jennifer Nettles’ New Album: That Girl

I am a HUGE Sugarland fan, so I was SO excited when I found out Jennifer Nettles was releasing a new SOLO album. It has such a wonderful sound and reminds me a lot of Reba McEntire’s early music. I do believe, however, it’s not an album for everyone. I grew up on this kind of music, so if you like Country music, you WILL love this album.

#6. Wilton Nonstick Donut Pans

The next two items go hand-in-hand: I bought these pans back in December and have been using them non-stop ever since. I find it amazing how donuts that are NOT fried don’t leave you feeling like poo :) lol.

#7. Top Pot Hand-Forged Doughnuts: Secrets and Recipes for the Home Baker

This is by far the best recipe book I have found for homemade donuts – I just substitute some of the ingredients with gluten-free products.

#8. ZD Wines Founders Reserve Pinot Noir, 2009

Prior to our Napa Valley trip on Thanksgiving weekend, me and D had never heard of the winery, ZD, but its wine has quickly became one of our utmost favorite Pinot Noir’s to drink – so smooth and the price tag doesn’t hurt either!

#9.  Bryan Callen’s Man Class DVD

I had forgotten how funny Bryan Callen was until we re-watched his special called Man Class this past weekend. It doesn’t matter if you are male or female, it will leave you crying.

#10. HUDSON Amber Raw Edge Short in Good Times

If you’re like me, I have the darndest time finding summer clothes [I blame my inner Midwest girl] SO anytime I find something I actually love, especially when it comes to shorts, I buy them.
