Well, semi-new. I mean I already owned all the pieces. It’s just a look that organically happened = out of shear panic, a race against the clock, and a little wardrobe luck. See last month, I made my typical sushi-supper plans [say that 10 times fast] with my upholstery friend, Eric, when in true “Jenna” form, I allowed a project I was working on engulf me, thus causing me to classically lose track of time. Once I realized it was MORE than past the period of “getting ready,” I said a few choice words and hopped into the shower. The entire time I was in there, my mind was a complete quander:
What the heck am I going to wear?
I wonder if [blank’s] clean. Crap. I wore that on Tuesday.
Wait, what if I put on . . . no, that’s at the dry cleaners.
As you can read, I was a tidbit frazzled and honestly didn’t have a clue what clothes I would fashion that night [#firstworldproblems], but I accepted my failure, rummaged through some hangers, and PESTO! I ran across a sweater I had purchased this past summer on sale. [WINNER-WINNER!] So, I decided to go simple and pair it with my best-fitting, black jeans, matching riding boots, and this necklace I have had for forever and a day.

Who knew bad time management could lead to such a staple of an outfit?!
