Style Crazed: Five O’Clock Somewhere

What’s that saying?

“Birds of a feather flock together.“

Well, thank goodness for that . . . otherwise, I might have stood out like a lone “Parrot Head” if it wasn’t for all the other crazy “Parrot Heads” this past weekend in Vegas ;)

I was recently inquired by a professional acquaintance of mine on where I shop for clothes? My answer was practically “anywhere and everywhere!” I’m honestly not trying to be super vague. I mean it’s not some sort of secret. It’s just I have found the most amazingly items in the least unlikely of places. Take the above dress for example. I wanted a parrot-themed dress for the Jimmy Buffett concert, so what did I do? Good ole Google. I typed in a whole sleuth of different versions of “Parrot Dress.”  And yes, it did take FOREVER, but in the end, I ended up finding something so worth my wild. Then, I pair it with a clutch from my beloved Kate and some awesomely matching wedges from a last-minute DSW order, and I had myself one elated outfit.

“Pour me something tall and strong. Make it a hurricane before I go insane. It’s only half past twelve but I don’t care. It’s five o’clock somewhere.“ – Jimmy Buffett

I get so giddy every time I see this dress in my closet and that, my friend, makes one hell of a purchase!
