Yogi Fever

Soreness.

It’s a feeling I have become incredibly use to.

It’s a workout that has given me so much more than just better abs.

My month of March was filled with spring fever [I’m sure I’m not the only one], basketball [of course], and a whole lot of yoga. Yep, as of yesterday, I completed Peace, Love, and Yoga’s 31-Day Challenge. [Are you shocked?] I’m in awe that I actually survived ;) and kind of proud of myself. I honestly didn’t know if I would stick with it, but I did?! That is crazy balls. My muscles are leaner. My body is stronger. AND my mind, well, I feel like for the first time in my life, I’m keeping my anxiety in check, which is frankly amazing. I can’t even begin to tell you how grateful I am that D and I found yoga. It’s a workout that has given me so much more than just better abs.

“Every goal, every action, every thought, every feeling one experiences, whether it be consciously or unconsciously known, is an attempt to increase one’s level of peace of mind.” – Sydney Madwed

My life is better because of it – now I just have to figure out what I’m going to fill my April with . . .
